El Salvador creates a national bitcoin office to oversee "All Projects Related to the Cryptocurrency"
The government of El Salvador has established a National Bitcoin Office in response to the Salvadoran president Nayib Bukele's announcement that the nation will purchase one bitcoin each day (ONBTC). According to the report, the organisation was established by Decree No. 49, which was signed by Bukele and the ministers of tourism and the economy of El Salvador.

The idea of Salvadoran bitcoin bonds has been postponed, and publications have noted that the bonds may be issued by the government-owned La Geo geothermal firm.
